KLAUS BISCHOFF

Klaus Bischoff was born in Ulm and became a GM in 1990. He took 3rd place in the 1980 World Junior Championship, behind Kasparov and Short.

He is a noted expert at rapid chess and is an eleven-time champion of Germany's blitz chess championship. In 1999, he shared first place at the prestigious Essen Rapidplay event with Vladimir Viktorovich Epishin. (1)
