The history of chess
Compiled by truepacifism
--*--

I am going to comment on the history of chess not only from the first game in the database from 1475, but before. I plan to discuss inovations in chess, including things like 3D chess and other variations on chess. Capablanca, for example, invented a game with two additional pieces on a 10x8 board. I am going to start out by including at least one game from every century with a minimum of seven games and possibly more. I am going to list players over the last 500+ years. The next thing I could do is a timeline of chess and then an outline of chess.
