alexmagnus: Believe it or not, I see this blunder in online blitz very often (in a bit other variantion: 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.d6 exd4 4.Nxd4 Nf6 5.Bd3??)
Oct-02-06  jamesmaskell: Until I saw this game Im pretty sure I may well have made this mistake in a game of mine... It explains why you play Be3 first. Either that or Bc4.
Jun-08-09  smalldreams: This game makes me feel better about myself.

FSR: My opponent just played a similar "gambit" in N.N.-Rhine, playchess.com, blitz, 4/1/10 (A perfect game for April Fool's Day) 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nxd4 Nf6 5.Bd3?? Nxd4 6.e5? notable games are selected based on how many games collections they are in. This gamelet is in four collections.

Dec-10-13  Calar: I find it funny how this horrible continuation which loses a piece at move 6 even has a name: Yates Variation.
