Oct-23-04 | | Knight13: Excellent attacker! |
Oct-26-04 | | Knight13: As I was observing, I found out he was a very good at using pawns to attack among the enemy king and to use it as a very, very strong pieces. He is a pawn master as well! |
Nov-01-04 | | Knight13: Here are one of his best games: De Ronde vs P Michel, 1945. There is a Bishop Sacrifice in this game, wich is very useful sacrifice. Enjoy! |
Nov-02-04 | | Knight13: Here's one of P Michel's sad loss but a good attacking strategy played by Eliskases. Eliskases vs P Michel, 1938. I enjoyed this game very much today, Nov-02-04. |
Nov-05-04 | | Knight13: From days to days, games to games, I have seen lots of his games. He is a skillful attacker. He beat Najdorf two times. Althought he lost the match to Najdorf, he still has two games won. He drew with Max Euwe. Not bad. I will kibitz here whenever I have finished observing the games! |
Nov-06-04 | | Knight13: Now I have seen all the victroy games of Paul michel. I am going to see the loss games of Paul Michel and the drawn games. I've never thought about how great these games are!! :O |
Nov-06-04 | | Knight13: I am celebrating my 1500th kibitzing here at Paul Michel! Yay! |
Nov-08-04 | | aw1988: You should have celebrated with a Beer. |
Nov-08-04 | | Swindler: <aw1988> Don't forget he's a minor! ;-) |
Nov-12-04 | | Knight13: Finally. I have seen all the victory and loss games of Paul Michel! I will celebrate it here too. Now lets look at the games that have drawn. |
Nov-13-04 | | Knight13: All These games are going to be full kibitzed in no time! |
Nov-13-04 | | poktirity: <Knight13> By you? ;) |
Nov-13-04 | | Knight13: <poktirity> Yeah. 93% of these games are kibitzed by me. So I think I'll kibitz all of them my self since nobody really knows him or like him. :) |
Nov-13-04 | | Knight13: 5 more games to go... |
Nov-13-04 | | Knight13: 2 more to go... |
Nov-13-04 | | Knight13: Zero! Ha ha! Finally! I have kibitzed all the games by Paul Michel and I have seen all the games! Comments: His games are very well played. Very stratigical. I will never forget... I wonder who's the next person that likes this guy and stick on his games like me. I celebrate! Time: 7:14 PM |
Nov-13-04 | | yoozum: a bundle of energy. |
Nov-14-04
 | | lostemperor: Congrats Knight13. Because of you I've looked him up yesterday 9 PM GMT at the local chesscafe book collection. From Chess dictionary: his name was given Pablo Michel from argentinia. He got the IM title in '56. He was born 11 27 1905 somewhere in Germany, where he came second in the national ch. sh. 1935. In 1939 he played the olympiad for Germany in Argentina where he stayed because of war climate in Europe. He came 3rd in Mar del Plata '43 '44 '46. Oh and he was better than Kasparov. |
Nov-14-04
 | | lostemperor: Of course the bad news is that you haven't even played over half of his games. Wouldn't it be great, to have 200 more to go!! |
Nov-14-04 | | Knight13: <lostemperor> I don't know, man. Chessgames.com only has 54 games recorded. I wish there were over 100 games recorded. :) <Oh and he was better than Kasparov.> What the heck are you talking about? If he's better than Kasparov, everybody would've known him. So I think that's an opinion. In my opinion, I say Paul Michel was a very good player that lots of people never heard of him. |
Nov-14-04 | | yoozum: i think lostemperor was joking. |
Nov-14-04 | | Knight13: Yoozum, I agree that he was joking too. There are no players that have ever past Garry Kapsparov. |
Nov-15-04
 | | lostemperor: I have also looked if there is a player called <Beer> in the book but there was no mention of one. I think he was a lousy player. |
Nov-20-04 | | Knight13: Here's one of my favorite games of Paul Michel: Najdorf vs P Michel, 1945. |
Dec-17-04 | | Knight13: I haven't come back for a while here so I decided to celebrate my 2400th kibitzing right here. |
