Sep-12-05  aw1988: Zvjaginsev is a crying shame. He is probably one of the most dramatic players...
Sep-12-05  acirce: <Bareev wins 58th Russian Individual Championship>

Another loss for people who trust Chessbase for chess news.

Sep-12-05  iron maiden: <aw1988> I was rooting for Zvjaginsev to qualify too. A pity.
Sep-13-05  acirce: I may have to apologize to Chessbase. I hear from a couple of Russian speaking persons that this event actually seems to have had the status of an official championship (and at the same time a qualifier to the "superfinal" championship in December). But it sounds odd and I don't know for sure.

eternaloptimist: well, i see that kurtrichards also noticed that volkov lost on his birthday. that's too bad. inarkiev had to win to tie for 1st place so u can't blame him for not agreeing to a draw w/ him.
