technical draw: I think the person that ends up in 471th place should get a free lifetime membership. I wonder who's there? Oh, it's little ole me! Ragh: What about an award for someone on 399th place. It is neither an even number nor a prime number. And most importantly, it is equal to 20^2-1. NakoSonorense: What about an award for the good samaritan user? I saw that <TD> was doing poorly (ha, big surprise) so I decided to show my solidarity with him and I ended up at the bottom too.
Surely that must count for something?

jackmandoo: I play blindfolded, but not chess, only in tennis. MrMojoRisin: <jackmandoo> Ever tried to play blindfold SnowBoarding? Its all the rage here over in New Zealand. You should try it someday. It's quite fun... knowing that any second you could collide with a tree or that you could go right off a cliff. dakgootje: <You should try it someday> I second that, maybe <jackmandoo> can tell us afterwards how it feels to know that you could die every second... also fun: blindfolded free running jackmandoo: I want to see a GM give a exhibition not only blindfolded, but gagged and bound too. Also maybe wearing black latex and some chick with a whip standing over him. You know I mean its the 00's. Seems only right. technical draw: <jackmandoo> Good idea, but it dpends on which GM is giving the exhibition. If Kasparov is in black latex I want to be blindfolded > |

Poster: <whiskeyrebel> Topic: Computer vs. Computer-
<Jul-03-09
whiskeyrebel:>
Chess machine versus chess machine seems as underwhelming to me as a real live player as (I imagine) a tryst between inflatable dolls. I believe it's the fear of losing, chess wise and socially that drives loners into such passive forms of entertainment. Perhaps one could derive more excitement outside of ones lair, going to a barber shop to watch haircuts or to an airport to watch random airplanes land. |

Reality, he didn't, and anyway it's too late now. The folks involved, from my sources, were not able to get Bobby to do this. Bobby is still Bobby. Yes, he could, should, but , reality, this is what were getting. I have reasons to believe, more will be coming, as long now as his health improves. But this is no hoax.> <trm | December 16, 2007 5:31 PM | Reply> <These secret "sources" you speak of, might they -by any chance- be located somewhere between your buttocks?> <If the plan was to make all this as suspicious as humanly possible: congratulations, you succeeded.> |
