Aug-21-22  Rdb: So, <George wallace> is complaining once again today in cg.com forum

Admins have fixed rogoff forum and some people are unhappy.

How many people are unhappy and complaining? Just one.

Can you believe it ? Just one person unhappy and complaining that admins fixed rogoff forum !

So , <Z> was right all along that there is only one person (and two of his buddies who emulate him ) who is causing all problems at rogoffland.

Aug-21-22  Rdb: <George wallace><<Daniel> never had it like this, not even to try it out. Never. But he was a man, and men can be strong. "Let them cry it out..." was his attitude. Now the attitude is, "OMG! No saying words I don't like - or we will wish you into the corn field...">

That is clear violation of guideline number 1 - sexist.

<Gw> saying that <<Susan freeman> is a woman and women are weak and that weakness is reflected in the choice Susan has made as owner/admin >

Sexist remark - violation of guideline number 1. Everyone - whether man or woman - can be as strong as Jesus/Krishna if they dissolve anger/pride/greed etc and thus reach delta brain wave activity level.

perfidious: The 'intolerance' has emanated chiefly from one quarter--that of the poster currently playing the 'woe is me' angle to the hilt and acting hard done by because his ability to be intolerant is being circumscribed to some degree.

It is regrettable that he lacks the perception to see how posts filled with racism, misogyny and other less than endearing content stray well beyond the bounds of what he terms 'free speech', but so it goes.

saffuna: Come on, folks, admit it. Isn't it kinda fun to watch our big bully "Alpha Male" whine incessantly about mistreatment?

  MissScarlett: Cry less.
Aug-21-22  stone free or die: "Let them cry it out..." has been lifted out of context and, of course, misappropriated.

<unprecedented intolerance and censorship through your proxies, >

Funny to note that, no matter who the proxies may be, they all agree on whose toxic posts need to be removed. It's a wonder.

* * * * *

<For a person may labor with wisdom, knowledge and skill, and then they must leave all they own to another who has not toiled for it. This too is meaningless and a great misfortune. >

How grievous to leave such a voluminous posting history to be wasted, to throw away a lifetime of wisdom upon the thorns.

<Speak not in the ears of a fools: for they will despise the wisdom of thy words.>

Willber G: <Susan Freeman: Maybe we should all read more of Cormier chill and STFU Or ignore. Your choice.>

Surely that advice could relate to all posters, including those that are deleted and/or banned?

But anyway, it seems as though the complaints are not about a particular poster but about the inconsistency of moderation.

Despairing about not getting to troll the other posters on the Rogoff page is actually a most unproductive waste of time, Wallace.

MissScarlett: Where are the final round games from FTX Crypto Cup (2022) and the Chessable British Championship (2022)? Things seem to have improved of late but no slacking allowed. This needs to become habitual.

<8. Do not degrade Chessgames or any of it's staff/volunteers.>

MissScarlett: A relic signifies a figure/article of the past subject to veneration, not degradation.

Compare and contrast with the following:

<On another note.....to all of you who miss Sargon so much, he was, in my opinion and the court of law, an arrogant ,worthless, stealing ,lying employee, who now has a federal court injunction against him, a permanent injunction.

and he humiliated CG internationally in his pipe dream ( literally) of taking over the site.

Even Daniel did not trust him.

And Z...whilst you have valid criticisms, and I appreciate them all, I cannot help but feeling a nihilistic negativity that is far from benign.

I hope Sargon's name never comes up on this site again.>

<MissScarlett>

Interesting. So if I read all your posts on "relics" correctly, <Jenkins' Ear> would be a "relic", but yours would not be unless <Nick Pope> cut it off and put it in a "reliquery"?

What does either case have to do with <Stonehenge>? I do not recall reading about any ear problems on his part.

Here is some relevant science: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_o...

<Chessical> I'll look into what is preventing this feature from working. Do you have an idea of when this feature stopped working?

Aug-23-22  Shangri La: <Aug-21-22 MissScarlett: Cry less.>

In reality this must be the help page because the tab Help page does not accept input from users. Shouldn't you help users if you are in charge? It seems like you are trying to muzzle users.

On August 2, I was put on RESTRICTED KIBITZING and all my posts but one asking for help were deleted through Aug 11. Why is this?

I was told that I am naughty but that is not true. Whoever put me on the naughty list is the naughty person. Who did that? I behave much better than others here who are free to post whatever they want. I don't understand why I am punished so.

So where am I supposed to ask for help if this is not the place? I would like to know what I did wrong, how long I'll be punished, how to file a grievance, why my posts were deleted, and express concern for waiting two weeks to get acknowledged as a user. I am very dissatisfied with this process.

There is so much unfriendliness here but that can change.

To be sure!

Which is why I have reported you to the City of London Police for copyright infrngement.

The aphorism "God helps those who help themselves" was purchased, and copyrighted, by <"Some old fellers"> back in the day.

Enjoy your lenghty prison sentence.
