Sep-07-25  stone free or die: Question for <CG> - have we decided on B&W boards in comments?

I don't think this change was announced - or did I miss it?

jnpope: Well, folks have started posting under Rogoff2 (nothing political) so I've renamed the Pid to just Rogoff as it's appearing under recent kibitzing.

May as well use the correct name at this point and leave it to Susan and the CG staff.

jnpope: <HeHateMe>, the Politics thread is now appearing in the recent kibitzing box like any other forum.

Apparently the block was keying off of the name and not the Pid number.

HeMateMe: On my cellphone under 'new kibitzing ' cg politics does not appear

jnpope: It appears for me, in both regular PC and Mobile homepage formats.

jnpope: Perhaps you need to refresh your device's page cache?
Sep-07-25  stone free or die: https://www.chessgames.com/perl/fen...

Again, who/when decided it would be in B&W vs the long established color scheme previously used?

Sep-07-25  stone free or die: Also - the Chessgames - Politics profile photo is kinda dorky.

There have been several superior alternative suggestions, I will note!

I see no reason to block this forum from the recent kibitzing if politics is making the homepage now.

MissScarlett: <On my cellphone under 'new kibitzing ' cg politics does not appear>

It appears on the Recent Kibitizing list on the front page but not on the dedicated page: Recent Kibitzing Page

HeMateMe: Recent kibitzing is the text that pops up for most people. Other categories are viewable, such as Bobby Fischer, Hastings 1895, etc. if you don't allow visitors to see the posting there, then it is still blocked.

jnpope: But Sports appears there and not on the homepage.

Lucy, you've got some 'splaining to do...

HeMateMe: I remember finding rogoff, years ago, by seeing interesting chat after clicking Recent Kibitzing. That's how you draw in new people.

If CG Politics dialogue doesn't appear in Recent Kibitzing then you are still blocking the page. You are blocking new people from using the site.

jnpope: Perhaps something Steve can look into. I never make it beyond the homepage as the ignore-list doesn't work on that page.

Sep-10-25  stone free or die: So glad <Suzz> advocated for opening up <Rogoff> again, so we all can learn little gems like this:

Narcissistic Drama Queens don’t like free speech.

How lucky are we Susan does!

Sep-10-25  stone free or die: Take a look in the mirror if your want to see a Dragma Queen <dicey>.

I can't help it that there's so many who can dish it out, but can't take it.
