harrylime: Hey.. Just read your post on my forum. And I deserve it and you are absolutely correct.

I'm not bothered re other posters seeing me as a 'boor' .. It's likewise. ( Posters I have difficulty with I can say the same re them ect.. )

But you are right and I will respect your wishes and you.And I will respect this site too ... It's too good not to.

All the best .

May-29-12  morfishine: Sorry, in a bit of a rush this morning, I meant to add I agree completely with your comments about the WC game. A big let-down as I was really looking forward to it. No doubt, the 24-game format is superior. Allows much more freedom of action.

I get the feeling the rapid play-off will be exciting, but that should've already happened (or would've happened in a 24-game format, IMO)...

Til then, Best Morf

jessicafischerqueen: <Harry> as usual, between us it's all good since we have a history of talking turkey, including our TOP SECRET conversations on ULTRA PRIVATE youtube messaging.

As for me, I'm cranky and impatient at the best of times. All I meant was- if you'd just clicked on one of the links I posted at <Kingscrusher's> place, you'd have seen exactly what I'm doing- I'm organizing his videos into playlists by player.

And if you'd further clicked on one of the videos in one of those playlists, you'd have seen that it's <Kingscrusher> analyzing one of the games of the Master in that playlist.

He has 80 million videos, so that's why I have to make and update so many of his playlists, otherwise it would be almost impossible for folks to find what they want buried in his channel page under 39 billion other videos.

I do love <Kingscrusher>, however, you got that part right.

At any rate <Harry> instead of youtube messaging why not switch to my TOP SECRET EMAIL at

jessicafischerqueen@yahoo.com

I've had an extremely humorous and TOTALLY UNCENSORED long term conversation with our dear <Mark Finan> via email. One of my proudest discoveries was that I have a much, much fouler mouth than does Mark.

Highly recommended!

jessicafischerqueen: <Morf> I think the optimal WC format these days is draw odds for the sitting Champion and 16 games.

Why not?

The real problem with this match, however, was not the format. Rather, the fighting spirit and chess energy was missing.

I have no doubt that most chess fans will judge this <non> event to be, by far, the worst WC match in history.

Also would it kill these guys to iron their clothes, shave, and put on a suit?

They look like bag men on the web cam.

jessicafischerqueen: <TheDude> also, wasn't that a 'ghost' book?
May-29-12  morfishine: Hah, hah! Now thats funny! Yes, iron their clothes and put on a suit! (I can forgive the shave)...and I almost fell out of my chair with your comment about "bagmen"...simply delicious!

I think the shortening of the match "shrinks" or "shrinked" their imagination. Cornered with the short match, both parties stayed within lines. What was regrettable was an almost total lack of novelties, or "home-cooked" preparation that could have spiced things up. Where was the preparation? Even Spassky came up with interesting prepared novelties against Fischer (though he lost anyways).

Oh well, I truly hope the rapid play-off will bring some entertainment to us, and perhaps a little chess knowledge

Hope you enjoy it! (Even if they don't shave, though Anand probably will...)

Morf

jessicafischerqueen: <The Dude> Yes, I do, as a matter of fact.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G501...

"The Cinema Show" is one of their greatest compositions. I particularly love the taped seagulls in the middle of the song, adding to an increasingly intense climax to Pete's singing on the first half of the song. But this climax is not the end, there's five more minutes of Tony Bank's amazing keyboard treatment of the theme to come.

This is exactly the kind of music that reveals itself fully when you take as many strong psychedelics as possible and turn it up to 11.

Jun-01-12  The Big Lebowski: That sounds like a plan! :>)
