"won the open championship of Baden in 1947."
This information comes from an article <Sigmund Wotkowsky> (Sigmund Wolk) wrote in the English magazine 'Chess' (February 1949) pp. 106-107; 128. This article was reprinted in John Donaldson's biography of <Elmars Zemgalis>. Sadly that is all the detail about Arvids Zirnis that he gives in the article. |
