Imre Balog became a Grandmaster after winning three GM norms at the Hungarian Team Championships that finished in May 2010, the First Saturday GM tournament in June 2010 and at the Romanian Team Championships in November 2010.

Note: there's another Imre Balog, he was born in 1965.

According to Fide there is another chessplayer named Imre Balog, but I don't think he has any games in the database so it shoulden't be a problem.

  alexmagnus: Hm, probably he uses both spellings :). I remember for sure that there is an FM Imre Balogh rated in 2400s (played in the last European U18 championship), though FIDE doesn't have him :)
