Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-26-10  Marmot PFL: Anybody know what happened to him? Strong player who just seemed to disappear.
Feb-26-10  siggemannen: He seems to be living in USA,

search for his name here: http://arizonascorpionchess.com/200...

Jan-12-17  Howard: 'bout the only thing I know about him was that he was invited to play in the U.S. chess championship in 1977 on less than 48 hours' notice, after the late Kim Commons had to cancel his invitation due to business reasons.
Mar-18-24  Nosnibor: I have found a game not in the database between Ghizdavu and Enver Bukic from the Balkan Team Championship July 1971. <White: D.Ghizdavu > <Black: E. Bukic > Sicilian Defence> 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nxd4 Qc7 5.Nc3 e6 6.Be3 a6 7.Bd3 b5 8.Nxc6 Qxc6 9.0-0 Bb7 10.Re1 Nf6 11.Bg5 Be7 12.Qf3 b4 13.Ne2 Qc5 14.Qg3 Nh5 15.Bxe7 Kxe7 16.Qh4+ Nf6 17.e5 Qc6 18.exf6+ gxf6 19.Qxb4+ d6 20.Nf4 1-0
Mar-18-24  Nosnibor: The aforementioned game was played in Athens which held the Balkenield Championship.By winning all of his 4 games Ghizdavu helped to secure his team gold and silver medals.

  Stonehenge: Black was Boysan:

D Ghizdavu vs H Boysan, 1971.

Mar-19-24  Nosnibor: Not according to "The Chess Player" edition 126 which states the opposite to what you have noted. So what source are we likely to believe? It is a coincidence that both games resulted from a Sicilian Defence.

At least Ghizdavu played Boysan in the first round:

Maybe I should change the game, using your source.

Mar-19-24  quadrant: From personal communication with Hasan Ferit Boysan: 'I played with Ghizdavu at a Balkaniad and lost quickly. I was on the black side of a Sicilian Defense. I don't know whether he also played Bukic and won.

Mr Boysan is the son of Mubin Boysan
