Yuri Nikolaevich Sakharov was awarded the Master title in 1956 and the IMC title in 1971. He was Ukrainian champion in 1966 and 1968, and was 6th in the USSR Championship of 1967. He passed away in Kiev in 1981.

Sep-18-13  Nosnibor: There is something wrong with the bio details.In the USSR Championship of 1967 he only finished 10th and not 6th ,but this may have been confused with 1965 when he finished with his best result placing 7th.
