on a different note, Neelotpal is joint first with 6.5/8 in the San Sebastian Open and is set to gain his final GM Norm and with that the GM Title, if he can get at least a draw against Prie Eric (ELO: 2475) of France with white pieces....

Apr-18-06  VishyFan: Deepan Chakkravarthy is the biggest loser, after his 2 losses in the last 2 rounds, he ended up in the 5th place and did not qualify for the indian team for the olympiad....

The gud thing for him is that he has now gained all three GM-Norms and gained 38.3 ELO from the tournament..., just need to get some more ELO, before he can be declared a GM.....

whiteshark: Hi, <+10k <Tabanus>>! Yeah, those pesky duplicate accounts will always operate against you. I'd guess it has a lot to do with <Murphy's law>. Kind of, if you haven't checked it, it will pop up when you'd expect it at least. :D:D
