Jun-28-04  Tigran Petrosian: Where is this guy? He seemed to be pretty promising.

acirce: He was. About top-40 or top-50 in the world at his best I think.
Jun-28-04  Tigran Petrosian: And he left us with some good games too. But what happned to him?

acirce: I think he has been playing a little, although no ELO rated games. He's just been giving priority to juridics studies and family life I think. Check http://www.schackcentralen.com/nyhe... - you probably don't know the language but there is a quite recent game of his a bit down on the page
Jun-28-04  Tigran Petrosian: Thanks.

WannaBe: Maybe Hellers and Lord should play. 8-)

May-07-05  babakova: I saw Hellers in a TV programme playing some supposed swedish wunderkind, alas we never got to see the game itself which Hellers by the way won.

Apr-18-07  Plato: Examining past results of the Sigeman Chess Tournament (which is to start soon), it looks like Hellers was the hero of that competition... He played in it three times and won all three!
Jul-18-07  Quagmire: Ferdinand Hellers played a couple of games in the Swedish league last season. He played the last four rounds and scored 2/4 points. His rating change was -6 and Hellers now has a rating of 2599. Hellers should also be Sweden's highest rated player since he became active. But in Fide's ratinglists Hellers is still listed as an inactive player.

Jan-21-10  Kingkris: Here is what he´s doing nowadays: http://www.nova.se/en/employees.php
May-05-10  samikd: He is Anand's second before the later's match with Dreev. Here's what I found from
http://business.outlookindia.com/ar...

<“I worked with Ferdinand Hellers. We were playing in junior events together and we got along well.” GM Hellers says: “Anand is a very pleasant person to work with. It’s very tough, but also very rewarding, as he is such a strong player.” Although Dreev had three seconds, Anand won. The match saw many opening novelties from both sides. Says Anand: “Ferdinand was a big help…the key was that we enjoyed the work.” Confesses Hellers: “As a Swede, I found the heat trying. I was very tired at the end.”>

<When asked about the psychological aspects of the match with Dreev, GM Hellers is tight-lipped even after nearly two decades. “It would be disloyal of me to comment as my views might in some way help Topalov,” he says.>
