Kibitzer's Corner
Jun-04-03   Bears092: Mr Wahls is perhaps best known for his radical pamphlet on how to best adress the king gambit. He extensively studied 1. e4 e5 2. f4 Nc6 3. Nf3 f5.

However, white is still far out on top.

Jun-04-03   huflix: Mr Wahls is also a big expert for the hedgehog system in the sicilian defense. He often gives lectures about this topic on www.playchess.com.
Aug-15-05   Giancarlo: I believe I kibitzed a game involving him once. If I recall, which I do ;-), it was against Kasparov.

Kasparov wins, but with a smuther mate! Very nice.

Feb-14-07   AVA: i was researching the sicilian and saw that this guy beat Kasparov in a simul back when he was 2280! Kind of surprised kasparov does simuls with players that high rated.
Feb-14-07   DennistheMenace: That was no ordinary simul. It was, I think, Garry's first major clock simul. The opposition were a German Bundesliga team. Chandler also won his game.
Apr-20-08   xrt999: I also wrote a pamphlet on how to address the kings gambit.

On the cover, it says "How to address the King's Gambit" by xrt999

You open the pamphlet and it says:

"accept it"

Apr-05-09   WhiteRook48: "defeater of Kasparov"
