chessgames.com: <♕♔ Bettors and Worse, here are the results and prizes of the 2019 Championship Leg... ♔♕>

First, we apologize for the delay, but our job was complicated by the unfortunate discovery that our logs showed evidence of multi-account cheating in the top 10 again.

The two accounts involved are disqualified, and Leaderboard users #11 and #12 advance to the official Top 10 instead.

Congratulations to <moronovich> for finishing far ahead of the competition, with 27,021 chessbucks. He wins a $100 gift certificate to The Chessgames Store and a 1 year membership to Chessgames, as well as automatic inclusion in next year's championship.

2nd place goes to <wordfunph> with 19,531 chessbucks, winning a $25 gift certificate, a 1 year membership to Chessgames, and inclusion in next year's championship.

3rd place goes to <Touch of Knight> with 17,046 chessbucks, winning a $25 gift certificate, a 4-month membership to Chessgames, and inclusion in next year's championship.

Places 4-10 all win free 4-month trial memberships (or 4 months added on if they are already premium members) as well as inclusion in next year's championship.

(4) Dr Winston OBoogie 17,024
(5) 4tmac 16,666
(6) beatgiant 14,921
(7) mike1 14,775
(8) Kynas 14,056
(9) yiotta 13,766
(10) redribbon3700 13,547

<GIFT CERTIFICATES> The gift certificate codes will be sent by email to the winners within the next few days. If your email is not correct in your account, please update it ASAP so you get the prize.

<GRATITUDE> A big round of applause for User: WinKing for conducting this Championship leg, the last ChessBookie leg run by a volunteer Bookie.

That's right, the daily management of the ChessBookie game is now returning to CG employee <Kevin>, who had run it before, several years ago. Welcome back, Kevin!

<THE NEXT LEG> is starting immediately, with betting on the GRENKE Chess Classic.

Good luck everybody!

cg bookie, i emailed that my $25 be converted to premmy extension. Thank you.

Apr-20-19  Count Wedgemore: <Our job was complicated by the unfortunate discovery that our logs showed evidence of multi-account cheating in the top 10 again.>

How can someone stoop so low as to cheat in the chessbookie game? Must have been Hillary supporters.

Apr-20-19  morfishine: This is sad <chessbookie> about cheaters.

I can't even imagine how they would "cheat" at this fun game, or why?

Its all monopoly money
