stevemcd87: <Chess.com> seems to have an API that may work for us( https://www.chess.com/news/view/pub... ). It'll take some time to implement but can be extremely useful for future events if it works. I'll keep you posted.

I changed the Event tag to <Exhibition odds game> but it still shows <Havana>. Why?

Pillsbury vs J Jellett, 1900

I switched the result to drawn and the PGN file to same, but it's still showing 1-0.

  stevemcd87: Hello everyone,
The editor page has been updated, sorry for the delay.
We are able to make a tournament kibitzable and merge games.
I wasn't able to get the Tournament Merging feature up for this update, it will be completed in time for the following update.
Let me know if you run into any issues.

<Check it out>, We've made an update on the game pages to better serve android devices, let me know if you continue to see them.

Thanks for you patience.

  MissScarlett: <make a tournament kibitzable>

What's this mean?

I assume merging games is the preferred method for geting rid of duplicates.

  stevemcd87: <MissS>,
Merging games is to transfer all the kibitzing an collections from the bad game to the good game.
When editing a tournament, you can now make it kibitzable, which will allow editors to create an intro and allow users to comment on the event.

Tabanus: Yup, that worked for Credit Suisse Masters (1994).

I have one more wish :) This tournament was a round robin and should have a standings table. But the default view is list of players. While for example Corsica Masters (2017) was a KO and should have a list of players, but the default view is standings table. I want to choose between the two!

Does the 'bad' game disappear? If the games are identical, I assume it doesn't matter which one is deleted.

<When editing a tournament, you can now make it kibitzable, which will allow editors to create an intro and allow users to comment on the event.>

I thought that was already standard for promoted games collections.

Tabanus: <Does the 'bad' game disappear?> You can pick which gid to disappear. Correct me Steve if I'm wrong ;)

<already standard> Yes, but we avoid the blind voting button pushers.

<Tab>, I'll look into this.

Re Merge Games:
The good gid score is kept and the bad gid is deleted after transferring kibitzing and other data.

I'll be sure to update all "help" sections(? buttons) on editor page and edit forms so we can easily reference when needed.
