< from chessgames ; ZAW WIN LAY (born Oct-22-1963, died Oct-03-2014, 50 years old) Myanmar Zaw Win Lay was the first Myanmar International Master and Grandmaster. He died in Mandalay, Myanmar leaving behind two daughters. He was a four-times Myanmar National Champion.>

  GrahamClayton: Myanmar champion in 2000, 2004, 2006, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2017.

Interesting to note that like all of the Myanmar players in the database, all of his games are from overseas tournaments, and none from tournaments within Myanmar.
