Coach and husband of world champion Olga Rubtsova . The father of chess player Elena Fatalibekova . Electrical Engineer.

Participant in a number of Moscow championships, best results: (1927) - 5-6th, 1951 - 6th places.

Member of the USSR Championship (1929). Champion of Tula (1942).

In 1933, he tied a match with Nikolay Zubarev - 9: 9 (+5 −5 = 8).
