Armenian U14, U16 and U18 champion 1994, 1996 and 1998.

<Armenian chess player Gevorg Harutjunyan fulfilled a GM norm for three times, one after another, in international tournaments held in Alushta, Ukraine. In the "Alushta 2007-1" tournament Gevorg took the 2nd place, in "Alushta 2007-3" he shared the 1st-2nd places. And in "Alushta 2007-6" Harutjunyan took solely the first place.>
