Oct-08-07  cannibal: A very notable performance at the European Club Cup.

Playing on board 5 for Hamburger SK, 15 year old, untitled Niclas Huschenbeth has scored 5/6 (+5 -1) so far, resulting in a 2710 rating performance!

Among his victims are 3 GMs, and in round 5 he wiped off Armenian legend Anastasian right out of the opening (unfortunately the game is not in this database so far).

Oct-09-07  cannibal: Yep, and with his draw in the last round, it's officially a GM norm (performance 2666). Congratulations!
Nov-11-07  Refused: Yep and it was his final IM as well.
Mar-13-10  Refused: Congratulations for winning the German Individual Championships Huschi.

0.5 Points ahead of Elo-favorite Khenkin.
And a very good 2678 performance.

alexmagnus: Never realized that Huschenbeth is "only" IM. That's funny, Germany has 75 GMs (only Russia has more) but the German champion is an IM.
