Blomqvist won his GM norms at the World Junior Championship (2010) (8/13), Politiken Cup 2011 (6/9) and at the 4th Borloy Androvitzky Karoly Memorial Tournament, the First Saturday GM event held in July 2013, scoring 6/9. All his scores at these events were the requisite scores for GM norms. (1)

  HeMateMe: In the USA, they change the spelling of this name to "Bloomquist." Otherwise, even the teachers in school will misspell it.
