Mista was 3rd in the 2009 Polish Championship, runner up at the Miguel Najdorf Memorial Tournament in 2010 and at Hastings (2014/15). He represented Poland in the 7th Children's Chess Olympiad held in Artek in 1999. He plays board 1 for MLKS Impact Team Ostrda in the Polish Team Championships. He played with the team TJ T Třinec in the Czech Extraliga from 2004 until 2011, and with K Slavoj Ostrava-Poruba since 2012, playing board 1 every year except for 2012. (1)

Mista is the former coach of the Polish Women's team for the European Team Championship (Women) (2011) and the Chess Olympiad (Women) (2012) (where they won the silver medal). (2)
