GEORG MEIER (born Aug-26-1987) Germany [what is this?] GM Georg Meier learned the rules of chess from his mother at the age of 3 or 4. In 2003 he won the German U16 Youth Championship. He was awarded the GM title in July 2007. Vasily Smyslov is one of his idols.
