"Play the board AND the man ! ".
But mostly the board.
Was born in Elsinore,Denmark,1953.And I am still proud of it.As I hope everyone is proud of hers/his startingpoint.

In many aspects life and chess do mirror each other IM experience. As science and belief goes hand in hand.So many "rules of thumbs" and many "exceptions" from the rule. I do agree with Bent Larsen who once said that someone who cannot contain a paradoxe is not using the full capacity of his brain.Actually I am convinced that there are no parodoxes, but perspectives which are more bright or flexible than others...

Though some obviously are borned under more easygoing circumstances than others,I will second our esteemed fellowkibitzer <zarg> who underlines that "luck" is also somehing that we create ourselves. Ourselves, but also together IM experience.
I try to live my life as if Jesus or Buddha knocked on the door , I would wellcome them as friends . And if they didn´t show up, it would be fine anyway.

Dec-25-19  virginmind: Merry Christmas, my friend! Hugs to you both from Maria and me.
Dec-25-19  morfishine: Dear <moronovich> I just lost 3 Chess960 games to a 2200 player and enjoyed every minute of it

I thought I had him in the third game after I exchanged my Queen for a mere Knight, but he defended accurately, returned some material and won with a final shot

Dec-25-19  brankat: Dear Moro!

What happened to your avatar ?>

It expired along with my premium membership. Had some qualms about renewing when <Annie> quit and the day to day running seems a bit non-existent. In the end I decided against being a freeloader.

And it is striking how CG has lost a big chunk of its momentum.Sometimes it feels a bit ghost town like ):

The sky here looks clear and ready.

Høydepunktet for meg var hans seier over Kramnik.

Jan-16-20  morfishine: Good Evening Dear <moronovich>! I hope this finds you in good health and good spirits, which for some reason, seem to go together!
Jan-16-20
Premium Chessgames Member
moronovich: Well it is late now and it is nice to see you in da house again <morfishine> and you are right that health and good spirits go together. But I´ll also add that when the health is not on top I am able to find some reserves from the deepest and feel good spirits despite,or perhaps even, because of.I basicly believe we have a kind of free choice.Perhaps not for every situation..but still. Like when it rains:find an umbrella…
And you ? how are you doing for the moment ? Do you follow Wijk an Zee and do you also consider this new kid on the block as an extraordinaire talent ?

Now it is pillow time. But see you later down or up the road.

Take care.
