Jan-28-05   Champ Supernova: yes, kasparov was 13 at the time. But kasparov was 10 when he beat this guy in their previous game.

  ahmadov: Magerramov is 5 years older than Kasparov and he has three beautifully played wins against him in this database.
Oct-20-05   Jafar219: Magerramov took second place at USSR last championship.He played immortal game against Lembit Oll but that game is absent here in this database.You can find that game at Chessmaster 8000 programm.

IM in 1981. GM in 1992. Rated 2580 in 1994. ICC: el-marmalade

Winner of Andorra Open 1990. Placed 2nd in the last USSR championship 1991. Winner in Bad Wörishofen 1993. Winner of UAE Open (in Dubai) 2005, 2006 and 2007.

Azerbaijan's first GM. He coached GM Garry Kasparov during the 1984 World Championship and GM Maia Chiburdanidze during the 1991 Women's World Championship. Has an extensive coaching career (not least in UAE).
