Nana Mikhailovna Ioseliani was born on the 12th of February 1962 in Tbilisi, Georgia. She was awarded the WIM title in 1979 and the WGM title in 1980. She was European Junior Women's Champion in 1978 and 1979 and won the USSR Women's Championship in 1981 (jointly) and 1982. In the 1988 Candidates she tied with Elena Donaldson-Akhmilovskaya and won the subsequent play-off match (+1, 4=, -0) but then lost the World Title Match (+2, 11=, -3) to Maia Chiburdanidze.

According to this website http://www.travelclub.ge/welcome_mo... , it appears Nana Ioseliani has entered the travel business.

From the website:"Nana & Co" Ltd was established on February 2001 by the famous Georgian chess player, International Grandmaster Mrs. Nana Ioseliani and her friends Mrs. Tsintsabadze Nino and Mr. Gegiadze Siko. Director of the company is Mr. Vashalomidze Zurab."
