shivasuri4: Roeland Pruijssers, representing SK Turm Emsdetten against SG Trier in the Bundesliga 2011, moves a step closer to the GM title after his exquisite win against IM Dietmar Kolbus. Playing the white side of the Advance Variation of the Caro Kann, he demonstrated fine endgame technique to win in 78 moves. His opponent made a number of inaccuracies just before and after the first time control, and Pruijssers maintained the edge for the rest of the game.

shivasuri4: His being the last game to finish (none of the other games crossed move 55), Pruijssers helped his team win the round with a 4.5 - 3.5 score.

whiteshark: and Kolbus is by no means a lightweight.
