Apr-26-05  schnarre: <WMD> Point made!
Apr-26-05  fenno: That "reverse phenomena" is only self-betrayal that weakens you. When you think before or during a game your opponent's appearance or behavior you have been distracted. And, if you think: "I must win that stupid chick.", you are already giving odds.
Apr-26-05  ionnn: Chicks and chess : try <http:://www.chesschicks.com>
Nov-02-05  CowardlyKnight: <percyblakeney: A Manakova article without photos... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/mai... Apparently she's found a fan in Nigel Short, who says: "Whatever attracts people to the game must be good".>

yea.. I'm sure people are going to start playing chess because Manakova flashed her ass in a russian magazine.

Jan-02-06  THE pawn: <chess promotion by porn>

Behold, the greatest promotion idea one has ever witnessed.

Sad day for humanity...

Jan-04-06  yoozum: She's Nigel Short's favorite living player.
Jan-05-06  THE pawn: No surprises here.
Jan-09-06  aw1988: What the HELL IS THIS ABOUT???
Jan-09-06  EmperorAtahualpa: <aw1988> Take a wild guess. :)
Jan-09-06  aw1988: I don't know, I'd just like to see a picture of Manakova not in the bathtub...
Jan-09-06  aw1988: Well, they aren't as terribly bad as the filth posted from Chessbase, at least.
Jan-09-06  EmperorAtahualpa: <aw1988> Oops, you're probably right about that picture. I will delete my other kibitzes and stay with the following pictures:

Jan-09-06  Jafar219: <EmperorAtahualpa> She is really beautiful.Second picture is just fantastic.No comment!
Jan-12-06  schnarre: <EmperorAtahualpa> The second picture is a definite plus!!
Jan-13-06  s4life: bows down to <fenno>, those were fairly thoughtful comments back there ;)
Jan-13-06  Father Karras: My children you are sinning with your impure thoughts. I KNOW what's on each of your minds, and it is wrong. <emperor atahualpa> you are responsible for corrupting the minds of your peers.
Jan-13-06  supermanprime: ah, go jump out a window...:)
Jan-13-06  misguidedaggression: It's not emperor atahualpa's fault. My mind's been corrupted for quite a while now. I'm sure that applies to quite a few of us.
Jan-13-06  sleepkid: she's looking in her purse for the part of her shirt that covers her hip...

...where are the fashion police?

Jan-13-06  Chesschatology: -OFFICIAL CONTEST-

It is my firm beleif that the world of chess inuendo Iis suffering from cliché. We have all grown tired of puns involving the words pawn, back rank, skewer/pin, opening, mate, mating attack, rim, etc.

I challenge all of the ardent letches of this fine page to prove that there is still virgin territory to broach in this apparently jaded field, by way of annotating a short(fictional) game between Manakova and Skripchenko. No overt obscenity, and all perversity must be ambiguous.

Glory and notoriety to the winner- carpe diem!

Jan-13-06  lentil: <emperor> in the first pic, i notice there's a rook missing... hmmm.
Jan-13-06  schnarre: <Chesschatology> That could be quite a lengthy post!
Jan-28-06  Australopitecus: Maria Manakova on Kramnik:(chessbase enterview)

<As for Kramnik, he doesn’t interest me. He is neither bad nor good. When he won the title of world champion he should have offered Kasparov a rematch. He didn’t – he was simply scared. Such men don’t interest me>

Jan-30-06  schnarre: Need more be said?
Feb-12-06  Bobsterman3000: Maria Manakova is the #7 player in the world:
