Kibitzer's Corner
Jun-03-06  percyblakeney: In the Olympiad Batchuluun (2303) has played 6 GM's (200-500 points higher rated), the only two he didn't win against were Anand and Atalik. Batchuluun's four best wins in the Olympiad has been against:

Vescovi (2622)
Guliyev (2580)
Sveshnikov (2524)
Belkhodja (2506)

Jun-04-06  percyblakeney: Batchuluun finished the Olympiad with a 2648 performance. If someone had told Anand that the 500 ELO points lower rated guy that sacrificed a piece in the opening against him and lost would end up with a clearly better performance than all the Indian players he would probably have thought it was a joke...

Aug-18-14  zanzibar: <CG> should probably use <Batchuluun Tsegmed> as the presentation name:

https://www.facebook.com/batchuluun...

His FIDE card gives the name as <Batchuluun Tsegmed> (note the lack of a comma) - following the example of other Asia players who seem to prefer the non-westernized display name.
