alexmagnus: No more games played by Henrik Carlsen? Hm...

alexmagnus: As I know there was once a tournament where Henrik Carlsen did it better than Magnus. (but, as I know, they didn´t play against each other there). Are that games findable?
Apr-25-07  Rubion: As it happens Henrik seems to be playing in the Gausdal Classic B section. Sadly for him he seems to be last after 8 rounds...

alexmagnus: Hm... I didn't expect Henirk Carlsen to become last. The only member of Carlsen family I expected to finish last was Ingrid. But she, though lowest rated in the ELO-group (907, next lowest rating in the group is 1290) in at the place 45 out of 48 with 2,5/8 points (draw against 1210, win against 1354, win against 1613(!)).

As for Henirk, hope he wins in the final round.

  alexmagnus: 1210, not 1290*
Apr-25-07  slomarko: why does a 2095 rated player have a page?
Apr-25-07
Premium Chessgames Member
alexmagnus: He is by far not the lowest rated player having a page (Jan Koetz, for example, is rated 962).
Apr-25-07  niemzo: Since he has played games against GMs this is natural. You must have two players to input a game. Here he has only one game but that is enough. Do u propose that games in which the one player is below master strength shouldn't be in this database?
Apr-26-07  slomarko: was kulaots a GM at the time of this game?

Rolfo: <slo> i'm sure you also can have a page at CG.. Join a tourney with some proper competion, and there you are.. Would be fine
Apr-27-07  slomarko: <Rolfo> why do you think i want a page?

Rolfo: <slo> You seem to be an able chessplayer with much knowledge, and you seem to be interested in other people's pages. Besides, with own page it's much easier for you to comment on specific topic related to yourself and for anyone interested to comment. Go ahead..
Apr-27-07  Slotermeyer: I think <slo> wants to point out that Henrik Carlsen is under-rated... ;-)
Apr-27-07  aragorn69: <slomarko> is always such a gentleman...

technical draw: <Karpova> Great photos. They are so, how can I say it, Swedish?
Aug-12-07  Karpova: So Henrik must be a master of illusion! He's from Norway.

technical draw: <Tks> Karpova I meant to say Scandinavian!
Aug-13-07  Gegga: Henrik Carlsen commenting on his game against Magnus in Tromsø: "... my nice pawns on f5 and e4 became weak after f3, and Magnus easily equalised our internal score to 1-1. (If only I had the white pieces as in our last tournament encounter 7.5 years ago at Gausdal!)" From http://blog.magnuschess.com/
Jan-17-08  jon01: Papa Carlsen is a great contributor, he always gives a great overview of Magnus games.
Apr-09-08  Xaurus: Henrik opened with a win in the ELO group of Gausdal Classics 2008, where user "frogbert" (Hans Arild Runde) also participates.
