JAN PLACHETKA (born Feb-18-1945) Slovakia [what is this?] Jan Plachetka born in Trencin in 1945 was awarded the IM title in 1973 and the GM title in 1978. He was 1st= at Polanica Zdroj 1975, 1st at Sofia 1979, 1st at Trnava 1979 and 1st= at Strasbourg 1985. He also played on the Czech Olympiad teams from 1980 to 1986.
