SOCRATES (COMPUTER) [what is this?] Larry Kaufman is one of its co-developers and both Don Dailey and Marc Leski helped to test it (1). Julio Kaplan was helping to test the program. It was able to run on an IBM computer at events such as the 23rd North American Computer Chess Olympiad, where Socrates II came out the winner.
