KLAUS JUNGE
(born Jan-01-1924, died Apr-17-1945, 21 years old) Chile (federation/nationality Germany)

[what is this?]

Klaus Junge was born in Concepción (Chile) into a German Chilean family. His father Otto Junge was a strong chess player who won the Chilean Chess Championship in 1922. In 1928 the parents, together with their five sons, returned to Germany.

Klaus shared first place in the 1941 German Championship with Paul Schmidt but lost the play-off. In 1942 at Duras 60 (1942) in Prague he came 1st= (+7 =3 -1) with Alexander Alekhine, but at age 18, sadly, this was to be his last tournament. An officer in the German Army, he was killed in action on the 17th of April 1945 in Welle, three weeks before Germany surrendered.

keypusher: <Gottschalk: Today the US embassy was reopened in Havana and was seventy years that war finished-WW2.
However, Klaus Junge can not be notable games or photo identifier because of a Jewish-Polish resentment coming from chessgames. This is very undemocratic!>

Darn those Jews and Poles for dragging down an honest democratic SS-man.

MissScarlett: Another person who doesn't understand how the notable games feature works:

Chessgames Help

I propose that myself, <keypusher> and other suitably Aryan posters collectively organise with the aim of promoting a Junge game to such hallowed status. I leave the choice of game to our confused friend.

FSR: I doubt that chessgames.com is discriminating against Junge. Alexander Alekhine, Efim Bogoljubov, Emil Joseph Diemer - all Nazis or alleged Nazi sympathizers - all have photos and notable games on the site. So does Robert James Fischer, who was virulently anti-Semitic. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bobby...
Jul-24-15  Gottschalk: Keypusher

I believe that democracy is for everyone, as well as the constitutional laws, including those who do not want democracy.
The same should apply to international law. In this regard, never forget that the Soviets committed the massacre of Katyn https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katyn...
and they were never sentenced for it.

Answered this time, despite his irony.

Jul-24-15  Gottschalk: FSR

For me the reason remains unclear,
as I refuse to believe in "technical problems".
I think the reason is not displaying the swastika,
in this case, what many people consider shameless.
In an attempt to remove this obstacle, I posted
Junge photos in civilian clothes.

But if not that,
it's easier to squint when it comes to acts of a mighty giant. Take for example what China did in Tibet.

Jul-24-15  zanzibar: Sometimes it takes <CG> a little while, other times a long while, to give a player a photo. <Anne Haast> only just recently got hers, despite clamoring from fan-boys like myself.

Send <chessgames> an e-mail, including the wiki-commons jpg of Junge at the board (it clearly being public domain), and I'm fairly sure the photo will appear here in a few weeks.

This will be the first entrant in my new collection, dedicated to racially persecuted minorities.

Within spitting distance is a Confederate flag for me, a Junge notable game for thee.

Jul-24-15  Rookiepawn: Aryans, meaning Hittites, Luwians, Myceaneans and Dorians; but not Akkadians, Assyrians, Amorites, Phoenicians and Egyptians, this one quite a civilization. Btw they called themselves "The Only Real Human Beings", no joke. But we are talking about the beginning of thinking; they weren't idiots, just primitive.

So to identify those "Aryans" we must travel to the Bronze Age, and to know something about their ancestors we should go to the late Neolithic, in a geographical area that covers from Western Europe to Siberia, to find those prehistoric Proto-Indo-European boys and girls.

Now, of course any sane person feels proud of their ancestors, my aunt always mentions Suppiluliuma I and how he kicked Arzawans' butts, but this is just because she's a name-dropper.

As we can see, to be sure that not a single drop of your blood is anything but "Aryan" all you need is a strong conviction to force your brain into numbness.

If you can convince someone that descending from any pre-Bronze Age tribe is important, be sure you got a nobody ready to do your bidding.

Jul-24-15  Rookiepawn: <Gottschalk essentially both died defending their homeland. >

True. This "defending your homeland" situation often happens after your army has tempted to invade someone else's homeland, and got crushed.

First launch a blitzkrieg, then sob about "your homeland", brave people are all the same.

Jul-25-15  greed and death: <Gottschalk: Klaus Junge can not be notable games or photo identifier because of a Jewish-Polish resentment coming from chessgames.>

Whut?

I'm Polish and I couldnt care less whether or not Junge has a photo.

Also, Polish #1 Radosław Wojtaszek has no photo on this site. Should I be complaining about Jewish-Russian resentment at his page right now?

Jul-25-15  Rookiepawn: <greed and death> Nobody really gives a doodle for the matter, just some nazi wannabes making a strategic move in the ideological battle at CG: if Junge's games are someday worth a notable games list, then it will be a victory of the "Aryans" (those guys I wrote about, who appeared in the planet some 4.000 years ago).

If not, it will be the Jewish-Polish-Masonic-Red-Semitic plot.

You have to understand, these people live in a cheap, simplified version of Game of Thrones.

  Sally Simpson: Hi perfidious,

Neither you or me have a picture on our page.

What have we done?

I sometimes play over games played by Russians who were members of the Communist Party. How about you?

They can have this one of me.

perfidious: They should ban them dirty Comminist rats--red as the day is long!
Jul-25-15  Rookiepawn: <Sally Simpson> I don't know if the guy with the Gagarin-like cap and the duck on the board (clearly a code message for red agents) is you, but if so then you are looking for trouble. No real American (or British, or Russian, or Tuvalu Islands whichever the phuck demonym be) looks like that. It's because of people like you that this country (again, pick it up) is going to hell and there are so many thieves and serial killers.

So if you don't like THIS country (again you know, THIS one) you can go to ANOTHER in which you will find people telling you exactly this, again.

Ambrose Bierce (hats off!) mentioned that "large and powerful tribe whose influence in human affairs has always been dominant and controlling". They are the strongest nation of all, and they are everywhere.

MissScarlett: Whisper it softly, but I may owe <Gottschalk> an apology.

H Lehmann vs K Junge, 1942 has gone from 19 collections to 22, but even 19 seemed rather high. Yet there are notable games which feature in only two collections.

So could there be another criterion? Junge has only 105 games in the database - was there a higher threshold to qualify? But no, for instance, Mark Moiseevich Stolberg has but 40 games, two of them notable.

Curious. I hereby resolve to take up the matter further with the relevant authorities.

MissScarlett: I won't claim all the credit for this.
Jul-26-15  Pyke: Where is <Gottshalk> now?

In my opinion an apology to <Chessgames.com>, or at least a thank you would be in order. It would at least show that he had some guts.

As it is, his accusation were ... well, how to put it ... well, worth of the one and only <Lifemaster>.

Jul-26-15  Rookiepawn: <Sally Simpson: Hi Rookiepawn: <Sally Simpson> I don't know if the guy with the Gagarin-like cap and the duck on the board (clearly a code message for red agents) is you... It's me.>

OK. And the duck is probably your contact to start all the dark plan to deny Aryan chessplayers their list of notable games.

Well, as you see your perverse plans were defeated.

Next step: Make Diemer Gambit mandatory in the WC match.

Hey, maybe not a bad idea.

MissScarlett: I think <Gottschalk> deserves a vote of thanks for helping to draw attention to the misleading FAQ with respect to the notable games feature, from which, perhaps, he drew too hasty a conclusion.

Many time ago I sent photos by email of Walbrodt and Wyvill, but were rejected. However, I intend to follow your tip to attach the link within the email. Thank You!

Southerners fought bravely and were winning until the death of Stonewall. despite the often outnumbered. Bearegard and Lee made mistakes, but they were alive at the end of the war to receive amnesty and be remembered with respect. What I am asking here is amnesty for the dead.
