ALFRED BRINCKMANN
(born Jan-03-1891, died May-30-1967) Germany

Alfred Brinckmann born 1891 was awarded the IM title in 1953. Apart from winning 1st place at Berlin in 1927 his tournament results were fairly modest. However, he is best remembered for his work as an author. He wrote the tournament books of Bad Niendorf 1927, Rogaska Slatina 1929 and Aachen 1934 and biographical works on Efim Bogoljubov, Siegbert Tarrasch and Kurt Paul Otto Joseph Richter.
