paulalbert: Anna and Mariya in the chessbase article which I saw when it was written were from the Ukraine. Anna plays now for Slovenia. Did the family move? Paul Albert

WannaBe: <paulalbert> According to this web site (very slow load, every slower scroll...) have them listed as 2 separate countries of residence. Anna is listed Slovenia, and Mariya is listed as Ukraine. http://www.belfort-echecs.com/bem20...

paulalbert: Mariya is now 1/2 point ahead of her higher rated sister Anna at the European Women's Championship with 7, a point behind the leader. Anna's performance has been a little disappointing, given at 2540 she started as the tournament rating leader.
